I have a question for you!
Hello dear souls,
I've been asked a lot what is the difference between 'conscious sexuality and 'sacred sexuality.
'Sacred sexuality is about experiencing the multidimensional nature of sexual energy. A key aspect is being in a meditative state, which means a relaxed mind.
But what if we don't feel safe enough to relax deeply, or we feel shame about our passion and sexuality? Most of us grew up with those feelings (including me). 'Conscious sexuality is about our personality. Do we know to listen to ourselves? Do we feel at home in our bodies? Do we dare to communicate our needs and desires?
If we try to learn practices or methods in Tantra or sacred sexuality while still feeling shame, for example, we won't be able to open to the multidimensional nature of these experiences. Those feelings prevent having a deeper connection to the self.
Challenging as it is, we arrive at some point in our lives, meeting someone (probably with the same difficulties) with whom we have our first sexual experiences.
My question:
What the adult version of you today would like to say to this young woman or young man?
What kind of advice will you give them that will change their experiences into much better ones?

Beautiful explanation of the difference of the two. Having experienced much trauma on the sexual plane, physically, emotionally and mentally (and spiritually and psychologically!) and having worked hard to cleanse and clear most of it - I sometimes do still feel an inhibition. A sort of “not fully daring to quite embody my sexuality as a whole embodied feeling/ experience “. Being a womb worker and pelvic floor masseuse and working deeply with this area - it’s a constant gentle evolution within the layers of the pelvic bowl and our heart. And I’m at a place where I feel very ready to more deeply embrace this powerful sexual energy within me - and would like to say to myself - my younger self - “You are safe now. You are safe to explore new ways to feel, be and express. And you have full on permission to explore and see what feel and resonates the best and most for you”
